The DD Services System Will Receive Relief In Funding System

On March 1, Governor Brown signed SBX2-2 (MCO Reform) and ABX2-1 (DD Funding), which will provide $300M in General Funds for the DD system (estimated $420M Total funds). His signature ensures a  boost in funding for our system that is expected to reach providers by July 1, 2016. On March 2, two of our Regional Managers were at the state capitol with the California Services Disability Association meeting with legislators to thank them for their support and advocate for further improvements to our funding system.  Click here and here to view photos of JoAnn Holliday with Senator Jim Beall and Teri Geston with Assembly Member Brian Jones.
